Located in one of Tokyo’s most popular shopping and entertainment districts, The Millennials Shibuya houses 120 multi-functional Smart Pod sleeping units over 6 floors of prime real-estate. A key attraction is the 5th floor, with Art Pods featuring the original works of 20 different international artists.
Upon check-in, guests are provided with an iPod touch with which to fully control their personal Smart Pod – from lighting, air-flow, bed inclination, to a soundless alarm system. Select pods equipped with projectors also allow guests to play their favorite programming from their personal devices, transforming the unit into a private theater. Private spaces aside, the 4th-floor lobby doubles as a stylish lounge designed for guest interaction, and a common kitchen for guests to cook simple meals during their stay. For those working on the go, the 3rd floor offers a large and colorful coworking space for both travelers and locals. All guests can enjoy free access to unlimited coffee, and a daily happy hour provides free draft beer every day from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
