Mad4You Hostel

The structure of the building is a typical Madrid house called a ¨corrala¨ and therefore features old balconies and a beautiful open-air patio.

About Our Hostel

The hostel consists of different room- and dorm types such as private double- and individual rooms and dormitories with four-, six- or eight beds. Most rooms are featured with a private bathroom and just a few are sharing a common bathroom. All dormitories have safety lockers and all beds have an individual reading light and electricity socket. Our gem also has many common areas for our guests to fully enjoy. First there is the reception, which is open 24 hours a day for anything you might need. Next to the reception we have the Mad4You Bar, where people can order different types of refreshments and snacks, such as soft drinks, local- and imported beers and liquors. In the heart of the hostel, located just besides the patio, one is able to find our substantial kitchen. Every morning from 8 to 10:30am we serve a delicious breakfast (buffet-style) in this area, that is always included for all our guests. Furthermore, the kitchen is equipped with everything people might need to prepare their own meals. There are two large fridges, a large pantry to store non perishable food items, a microwave, stove, oven and many other useful kitchen utensils. In addition, we have a common room with cozy couches, a flat screen TV, book exchange and games. But we are saving the best for last: our beautiful courtyard, right in the middle of the 16th century building of Mad4You Hostel. It is filled with tables and chairs, fluffy garden furniture, a fountain, some sweet music and loads of sunlight. This is definitely a place where most of our guests love to hang out to relax, chat and have a drink. Mad4You Hostel is situated in Malasaña, which is a trendy, bohemian neighborhood in the city center of Madrid. Malasaña is often being compared to Camden Town in London, the East Village in New York, Kreuzberg in Berlin and Barrio Alto is Lisbon. Many local artists and designers have their shops near our hostel and there are many hipster bars and restaurants to have a drink and enjoy Madrid´s finest tapas. Getting to Mad4You Hostel is quite easy with public transport. From the Airport you take metro line number 8 (pink) and get out at ¨Nuevos Ministerios¨ where you switch lines to line number 10 (dark blue) and get out at ¨Tribunal¨. From the Tribunal metro station it is just a 5 minute walk to the hostel. Please check out our website to watch the videos of how to walk to Mad4You Hostel form the different metro stations near us. When having arrived in Madrid, we at the reception, can help you out with whatever you need in Madrid. Our receptionists know all the ins and outs this wonderful city has to offer. We also organize a free walking tour twice a day, pub crawl every night and some days of the week we organize tapas and flamenco tours. But to already get you a little in the mood of visiting our lovely city we will share a few of Madrid´s highlights with you. First important thing to do when arriving in Madrid is to eat.
